Hahaha
Meh. Whatever I wear its going to be the 'wrong thing'. The amount of posers that were out in full-force last night was insane.

I could turn up tonight dressed as an astronaut and everyone would probably freak out and run away to buy helmets and suits, they'd all think they missed out on a new trend!

you should totally do that

Maybe I will
I did see a full Matador outfit for sale last night and was strangely tempted to buy it - maybe I should get that! :D

I could complete the look with a jazz flute too!

that would be pretty much the most awesome outfit ever

I have possibly been watching too much of The Mighty Boosh
its giving me weird outfit ideas! :S

go with it, it'll be good for you
I've decided I need more suits.

Barney sang a song about them on the latest episode of How I met your mother, and that clinched it for me.

I need to find some reasonably priced secondhand 3 piece suits.

Ah suits are good!
Hmmm its difficult to find good quality secondhand clothing that doesn't cost the world. That's the thing about Camden, it has some amazing shops but some of the stuff is just so overpriced because its a tourist hot-spot so they can get away with it. :(

Do you have any good secondhand shops around your way?
(, Fri 15 Jan 2010, 10:20, Reply)
there's a place called the Real McCoy which is a bit expensive, but the stuff is usually good quality
the trouble is it's a busy place, so anything good gets snapped up quite quickly. all you can be sure of finding in there are a variety of blazers and sports jackets. loads of 20s and 30s dresses, leather jackets and Levis

Ah that's cool though
that you have something like that near you, even if it is a bit on the expensive side. :)

they used to hire out vintage tuxes and stuff which was cool
and they have drawers and boxes full of long gloves and hats and stuff. it's a cool shop.
(, Fri 15 Jan 2010, 10:28, Reply)
I wish I had somewhere like that around here
I'd hire tuxes for all sorts of normal occasions. Like going in to uni. Alas, there's nowhere around here.

it was a bit too pricey for that unfortunately
there was an awesome antiques market in cardiff that had vintage clothes. my tux cost £30 to buy from there
