I used to run up to my little study every week, over the moon at the prospect of seeing the next show, I even loved the opening credits.
you cannot possibly spoil this for me. Tonight I'm gonna party like it's 1992.
I might do a litle cry.

My mum and dad put a desk and stuff and a sofa-bed in the spare room so I moved the telly and vid into their and it was like a little study or sitting room but it was the size of a postage stamp and it was all MFI, honest guv.

Christ on a bike! Caviar for breakfast and swan for lunch too, I'll wager!

It was either me or the ironing board, so the ironing board went in the cupboard and I got the room as a chrimbo present.
I grew up on a council estate but my mum being a Hyacinth Bucket type thought I would excel academically (and piss off the other kids) if I had a designated work area with a bookshelf and ting. Bless her. It worked. I got to uni AND got bullied mercilessly on the way.

...and raise you one less bedroom! But I did have a cabin bed so that was ace. I wish they made big ones. I was pretty spoilt too, and the estate was great.
Well done your old ma though! Mine was mithering me to get tattoos when I was 15, and she wanted grand kids when I was 18. Mental old bat.

I also wanted bunk beds. I was allowed neither.
At one point my dad wanted Thomas The Tank Engine bedcovers and my mum said no. My solution was bunkbeds in my room for me and my dad. He could have Thomas covers and I got to have bunkbeds. She didn't go for this suggestion.
Mine have only just started asking for grandchildren and calling me a spinster. As I'm almost 32 I think they've done well keeping a lid on it thus far.
