a house party in a house of 7 student nurses is fun, however I very nearly puked on the coach home.

Picking up repaired / serviced dive kit tomorrow then going to see a mate who had a heart attack before Christmas. Saturday night potentially going to the pub with the missus, assuming Sweary jr is staying with a mate.
Sunday - dunno yet. Hopefully sorting wedding photos out.

This weekend I'll mostly be drinking posh coffee that tastes like industrial cleaner, shoveling, depending on how much pep I get from the coffee I might just play in the snow, cleaning, cooking, more shoveling, wii-ing into the wee hours of the night, it's also Super Bowl weekend which means that if I'm snowed in then I'll be hiding from all of the football nuts in my house.
Snow really makes me miss Christmas :(
edit: oh, with my housemates, because they'll likely be snowed in too.

Now I just a skinny skinhead.

That is likely to end up rather messy (DJing is actually really rather boring and thus I'm liable to get somewhat twisted to pass the time) so tomorrow is a writeoff.

I may play some 'golden age' hip hop too if the mood takes me.
Not really what I'd choose myself at home any more but it's not for me, is it?
Given the choice I'd play mid-60s US garage and '66-style Brit freakbeat but hey ho. No other fucker seems to like that kind of thing.

It was either me or the ironing board, so the ironing board went in the cupboard and I got the room as a chrimbo present.
I grew up on a council estate but my mum being a Hyacinth Bucket type thought I would excel academically (and piss off the other kids) if I had a designated work area with a bookshelf and ting. Bless her. It worked. I got to uni AND got bullied mercilessly on the way.
(, Fri 5 Feb 2010, 14:57, Reply)
...and raise you one less bedroom! But I did have a cabin bed so that was ace. I wish they made big ones. I was pretty spoilt too, and the estate was great.
Well done your old ma though! Mine was mithering me to get tattoos when I was 15, and she wanted grand kids when I was 18. Mental old bat.
(, Fri 5 Feb 2010, 15:17, Reply)
I also wanted bunk beds. I was allowed neither.
At one point my dad wanted Thomas The Tank Engine bedcovers and my mum said no. My solution was bunkbeds in my room for me and my dad. He could have Thomas covers and I got to have bunkbeds. She didn't go for this suggestion.
Mine have only just started asking for grandchildren and calling me a spinster. As I'm almost 32 I think they've done well keeping a lid on it thus far.

I've still never had one from a restaurant, but I've discovered a take away in Middlesbrough which cuts them into bite sized chunks for those too drunk too use a plastic knife and fork.
At least we've clearly alleviated the problem of binge drinking though.
