(, Fri 5 Feb 2010, 14:18, 138 replies, latest was 16 years ago)
I'm off to Nottingham
To get thoroughly drunk with some student types, so it should be a good laugh.

You?
(, Fri 5 Feb 2010, 14:20, Reply)
I went to Nottingham for my cousins birthday a while back,
a house party in a house of 7 student nurses is fun, however I very nearly puked on the coach home.
(, Fri 5 Feb 2010, 14:25, Reply)
Student Nurses
That's the sort I'm out with tonight.

(, Fri 5 Feb 2010, 15:25, Reply)
So she's a 4th year student nurse in Nottingham?
Unless she's from Ormskirk before that, you should be safe!
(, Fri 5 Feb 2010, 15:28, Reply)
Nope, I'm safe.

(, Fri 5 Feb 2010, 15:48, Reply)
Home made pizza tonight.
Picking up repaired / serviced dive kit tomorrow then going to see a mate who had a heart attack before Christmas. Saturday night potentially going to the pub with the missus, assuming Sweary jr is staying with a mate.

Sunday - dunno yet. Hopefully sorting wedding photos out.
(, Fri 5 Feb 2010, 14:20, Reply)
Tonight, curry beer, then pub for a rock/alternative sausage fest.
Tomorrow chinese meal for a friends birthday followed by bar filled with hotties and pretentious cunts.
Sunday dunno, maybe see invictus.

it's just started snowing here *cries*
This weekend I'll mostly be drinking posh coffee that tastes like industrial cleaner, shoveling, depending on how much pep I get from the coffee I might just play in the snow, cleaning, cooking, more shoveling, wii-ing into the wee hours of the night, it's also Super Bowl weekend which means that if I'm snowed in then I'll be hiding from all of the football nuts in my house.

Snow really makes me miss Christmas :(

edit: oh, with my housemates, because they'll likely be snowed in too.

(, Fri 5 Feb 2010, 14:37, Reply)
hello ff
I watched Die Hard 4 the other day, it's not as bad as I remember. But that fighter pilot would have been fired, he was shit.
(, Fri 5 Feb 2010, 14:42, Reply)
Hehe
I really liked it, but then I do like watching films with lots of action, they don't have to have a good plot or anything! :)
(, Fri 5 Feb 2010, 14:45, Reply)
Watch district 13 then,
the best pure action film I've ever seen, and it's french.

Tonight I am DJing
That is likely to end up rather messy (DJing is actually really rather boring and thus I'm liable to get somewhat twisted to pass the time) so tomorrow is a writeoff.

Sunday: seeing my little'un - if the Wicked Witch of the East (End) will let me...
(, Fri 5 Feb 2010, 14:29, Reply)
What is on the playlist?
Other than Ziggy Shitedust.
(, Fri 5 Feb 2010, 14:46, Reply)
Hardcore funk and soundtrack stuff mainly.
I may play some 'golden age' hip hop too if the mood takes me.

Not really what I'd choose myself at home any more but it's not for me, is it?

Given the choice I'd play mid-60s US garage and '66-style Brit freakbeat but hey ho. No other fucker seems to like that kind of thing.
(, Fri 5 Feb 2010, 14:52, Reply)
Vinyl or digital?

(, Fri 5 Feb 2010, 15:15, Reply)
*shocked face*
Vinyl, of course!

If I didn't own the records I'd feel a fraud playing the tunes.

Tomorrow I'm going out to dinnaaaar and a few drinks.

Look Mont, when I was a nipper,
I used to run up to my little study every week, over the moon at the prospect of seeing the next show, I even loved the opening credits.
you cannot possibly spoil this for me. Tonight I'm gonna party like it's 1992.
I might do a litle cry.
(, Fri 5 Feb 2010, 14:45, Reply)
Your study?!
laaa dee daaa! Fucking hell, I had to make to do with a tele in my bedroom.
(, Fri 5 Feb 2010, 14:49, Reply)
No!!!
My mum and dad put a desk and stuff and a sofa-bed in the spare room so I moved the telly and vid into their and it was like a little study or sitting room but it was the size of a postage stamp and it was all MFI, honest guv.
(, Fri 5 Feb 2010, 14:51, Reply)
So you had two bedrooms?!
Christ on a bike! Caviar for breakfast and swan for lunch too, I'll wager!

I'm an only child!
It was either me or the ironing board, so the ironing board went in the cupboard and I got the room as a chrimbo present.
I grew up on a council estate but my mum being a Hyacinth Bucket type thought I would excel academically (and piss off the other kids) if I had a designated work area with a bookshelf and ting. Bless her. It worked. I got to uni AND got bullied mercilessly on the way.
(, Fri 5 Feb 2010, 14:57, Reply)
I see your council estate upbringing...
...and raise you one less bedroom! But I did have a cabin bed so that was ace. I wish they made big ones. I was pretty spoilt too, and the estate was great.

Well done your old ma though! Mine was mithering me to get tattoos when I was 15, and she wanted grand kids when I was 18. Mental old bat.
(, Fri 5 Feb 2010, 15:17, Reply)
I wanted a cabin bed
I also wanted bunk beds. I was allowed neither.
At one point my dad wanted Thomas The Tank Engine bedcovers and my mum said no. My solution was bunkbeds in my room for me and my dad. He could have Thomas covers and I got to have bunkbeds. She didn't go for this suggestion.

Mine have only just started asking for grandchildren and calling me a spinster. As I'm almost 32 I think they've done well keeping a lid on it thus far.
(, Fri 5 Feb 2010, 15:26, Reply)

Tomorrow- clear out garage, more welding and more beer
