Finally.
I found out today that two of my pieces that were sitting in the gallery for the past six months sold- a dragonfly and a glass-sided box.

Now I can honestly say that I've sold some artwork, such as it is.

Think I'll use the check to buy a good beer. (The check wasn't that big.)

Yay!
Good for you.

Thanks!
It's actually good timing- I've had a rather bad blow this weekend and was pretty depressed yesterday, so this little bit of validation helped a lot. I've had six pieces sitting in there since September, and ended up taking one of them down to give as a Christmas present because nothing was selling at all.

Now that I'm down to three things there, I guess I'd better make something new this week and get it in there...

well done. it's always nice to get some validation, even if we think we don't care. if the validation comes with money, even better.

Indeed.
I've sold stuff before to acquaintances and given it to friends and family- but there's something about having a stranger buy your work that's far more rewarding.

Nice on TRL
If it's good beer you're after, try these guys:

I can confirm that the beers are as good as the ethos and the marketing.

Cheers.

Booya!
A case of the Belgian Black would cost more than the check was for, and I'm not sure about shipping... but I just might have to give it a shot!

(Actually I'll probably buy some Duvel and some Chimay this time, but I'll be keeping this one in the back of my head...)
