Windows 7 huh?
i've tried the beta versions on old crappy laptops, and when it comes to upgrading the company computers in a few months the W7 will most definitely be the OS of choice.

i'd ask if you were my brother, but last I checked he wasn't living in London - you do share the same nickname though (his is Gonz IRL)

I'm going to have to rip and re-build the CD hacking the built in files to allow 'upgrade' of my RC1 copy.
I'll have to do a big back'n'upgrade over the weekend as my copy runs out any day now.

My flatmate had a go at me because I spent my last few bob on these gadgets (not that I ever borrow money from him), 'cus he's got a cracked copy, but I don't want a cracked copy of my OS, as if MS decided to be bastards (and they can, and have, in the past) they could cripple my computer.

there is actually
a later-expiry enterprise version available for demo - i'm running that on the computer my teachers use for making materials for classes. i plan on getting the cheap upgrade eventually though

I went for the OEM version, it doesn't come with microsoft support, but I've never used that before anyway, and can't see me ever useing it.

don't
not worht the effort.

if you need help, use your hotmail to get an answer quicker and easier from the MS support forums. if you can't find the solution to your problemthere, get a new system
