oh god, yeah, after I invited her to my house for dinner like 5 times and she's all like "we'll see" and never came or called
then when I'm all weepy on the phone like "why don't you want to come to my house" and she didn't say anything and then later she's all "what time do I need to come for dinner" and I was all like why you wanna come over now and then she showed up with three brownies and a rose and skank wine
(, Wed 24 Feb 2010, 19:45, Reply)

I got caught off guard by my grandparents.
They casually asked what i thought of the new civil partnerships thing.
When I said great!, they looked at me like I was mad and said
"but don't you find them to be deviants and perverts?"
(, Wed 24 Feb 2010, 19:58, Reply)
christ who talks like that
no offence to your grandparents but if my granny cracked that out I'd call her a moron
(, Wed 24 Feb 2010, 20:00, Reply)
They are your classic teligraph readers

My Nan
Found out my younger brother is a cocoa shunter and it went from sleepy backwater suburbia to Westboro' Baptist in 0.54 seconds.

On the subject on booze; I have 3 litres of limoncello festering in a demijohn ..... It's already getting that lovely yellow hue.

Akward times at xmas dinner?

(, Wed 24 Feb 2010, 20:17, Reply)
I'll give her her due
She's less problematic now then when she found out at first but it's still a bit frosty. I can understand as it's a generational thing but credit to my parents for their "Sod her if she's got a problem" attitude.
(, Wed 24 Feb 2010, 20:36, Reply)
never heard of it, apparently it's popular
I must try to get my hands on some
(, Wed 24 Feb 2010, 20:23, Reply)

I used this recipe and the ingredients are cheap as chips
