I can't decide whether to go surfing or not
here are the facts:
I haven't been for ages
it's sunny (at the moment) and would be nice to get out in it
it's fucking cold, particularly in the water
I didn't get in till 3am
the surf is small, and it is only a possibility that it will get better as the tide comes in

what to do!?

had a good gig last night, in a radical break from the norm, the crowd was screaming for more at the end, but we had to stop because the gimp who runs the pub said the neighbours had complained.

been to Newmarket
buying a couple of pictures for the house, now off into town to watch the rugby in the pub for a few hours, then out with some work mates.

hopefully I won't get into a shitty moody maudlin state when I get home to an empty flat, will have to hide the phone & laptop to stop myself from saying something very stupid I reckon

I ache all over
Went up to London yesterday to write a review on a new exhibition - had to sit on a hard metal floor to watch the piece. Stupidly decided to wear 'on trend' high heeled ankle boots - this is not a good idea when you're traipsing about that there London - especially when you then go out with Significant Other's work mates for someone's leaving do and get propositioned by their (female) head of HR.

Interesting day all round but suffering for it today.
