then I've got nothing.

a film both dreadful and awesome
also, Blind Fury is fantastic. He plays a soldier blinded by a flash grenade in Nam, or Korea or something, and gets trained to fight with a sword, despite being blind.

I love Hauer, but Zatoichi is infinitely superior.

have you watched that video yet?
we had a crowd literally screaming for more the other night. But the neighbours had complained, so we had to stop.

but the clips were from 2008 I think - still good though. But there was also a dude in a bear suit so maybe that was the intended clip.
Or you are regularly followed around by a helmet in a bear suit?
If I'm totally honest, I wasn't overly enamoured of your vocalist's delivery and in the clip I saw he was way too loud in the mix and you were too low. I'm nitpicking though really, if I went to see a local band and got you lot I'd be well pleased.
EDIT are you sure it wasn't that the cloakroom was on fire and they were screaming because the flesh was being burnt from their backs?

one of them anyway
we aren't usually followed around by that guy fortunately.
the vocals were a bit rough because it was at the end of the set, but to be honest they usually are a bit anyway, he's never had any training or anything and tends to belt it out and over extend himself somewhat.
edit: fairly sure, as the place doesn't have a cloakroom, and we had a commanding view of what was going on
There's never quite enough of my guitar for my liking! From what we hear, the sound guy is about the best guy locally, albeit a bit of a dick, but he doesn't really like blues and stuff...

he could have calmed down a bit and would have sounded a lot better for it. But hey, end of the show, fair enough....

the likelihood is that he was low in his monitor and upped his volume to compensate. It's not often we play somewhere with a decent setup and sound guy, so the experience isn't there.
we were remarking yesterday that he was been doing just what you say more recently, so maybe we need to tactfully point out to him that he has a microphone, so doesn't need to shout

but perhaps a quiet word might improve your listeners' experience.
Or up his monitor and have the vocal channel lowered on the desk, and just don't tell him...

some of his vocal performances over the last week have been his best ever, and some have been totally shouted.
he's a loose cannon.

Saw a couple of the others. Like the harp too.
I'd be happy if you played any pub I was in.
