Best: Radiohead
I don't think enough superlatives justifies them live. Really such an imaginative and technically amazing band and seeing them live only underlines that.

Worst: I must apologise to many /offtopic folk, but the Foo Fighters really don't do it for me. Bland, uninspired dirge with 1 or 2 hits thrown in. They also sounded terrible, and yer man from Nirvana has a rather high opinion of himself.

Foo Fighters do put out a lot of dross
their best stuff was on the first couple of albums IMO.

Dave Grohl is best as a drummer, as we can see from Them Crooked Vultures

best album of last year probably
although Bigelf's Cheat the Gallows was also awesome, and the second Wolfmother album.

not aware of Bigelf
but the site has the lead singer in a top hat which is clearly win

they have elements of Pink Floyd about them
and rockingness. the guy's voice might annoy some, but I love it.

listen to The Evils of Rock and Roll or Counting Sheep

music recommendation, especially now the BBC are being cunts

you will do well here
(, Tue 2 Mar 2010, 17:34, Reply)

have an opinion on them, I think everyone else has enough opinion on them for me

oh man! radiohead Glastonbury '97
yes, that's probably my favourite gig ever

I disagree on Foo Fighter, bloody love 'em. Also: Dave Grohl=HAWT

Where as Radiohead at V in 96 maybe?
Biggest load of tosh I ever stood through.

If it wasn't for the fact I was double monged, I'd have gone to see someone else, as it was, I needed to stay with someone who would see me back to my tent.
(, Tue 2 Mar 2010, 17:21, Reply)
really?
was that when they were being all neurotic about being popular? '97 was OK Computer, so they played lots of that

I saw Lazy-o-eye
on the television at some festival or other and have to say 'bland, uninspired dirge' summed them up perfectly.

But then we all know you're tone deaf, Finners old boy.
(, Tue 2 Mar 2010, 17:26, Reply)
Curse you!
O.K. perhaps a bad performance from the ratty man, but still, what has been committed to record by Radiohead is anything but uninspired bland! Foo Fighters on the other hand...
