I'm going to a rave in a couple of months
For some reason which I can't fathom, Tim Westwood has been lined up to play. This is shoulder to shoulder with the likes of Luke Vibert, The Orb, Ceephax, The Countryside Alliance...

What the juddering FUCK is Westwood doing there.

What I want to do is this...buy a job lot of cheap toy guns and walk along the front row giving them out to all the shiny, happy people waiting for him to come on. Then stand back and enjoy the fun as Westwood comes out to a whole audience waving fake guns in his face.

Who thinks this is worth doing? Too tasteless? Pointless?

You know I used to have this hatred of westwood
Especially as he has become a parody of himself. But it was pointed out to me on B3ta the other day just how much he has done for the UK hiphop scene (I forget by who but thank you)

He's done more for music in this country than most people ever will so I say the old bastard deserves a little bit more recognition.

Was anyone else who had only listened on the radio shocked to discover he is white?

It was me that pointed out his credentials.
He produced Money Mad by the mighty London Posse. This fact alone makes him a total and utter genius. I won't rabbit on because I don't want to repeat myself but he really isn't the tosser you would be more than forgiven for assuming he was, I promise. He's also a polite and charming man.
