Concise and to the point.
Incidentally, just how massive were the holes?
(, Wed 10 Mar 2010, 19:18, 1 reply, 16 years ago)
About 2m wide, 4m long and 5m deep

that's a deep hole
mine were only about 500mm wide, 2 metres long and a metre deep at most. then they got filled in again.

What can I say
I roll on a larger scale than you.

Because I'm so fat I can't walk.

good stuff
do you travel long distance dangling beneath a chinook?
(, Wed 10 Mar 2010, 19:25, Reply)
I get the chinook to drop me at the top of a big hill
then I roll down like a massive zorb.

Each or in total?
And for what purpose?

Holes have always held some kind of attraction for me.
I dug a trench t'other day, using a pick (of indeterminate age) and a shovel that's about 80 yrs old.
I felt a deep sense of fullfilment when I was done. It was a noble and goodly trench measuring 7ft deep, 3ft wide and 18ft long.

Each hole was that big
I dug them to see what was at the bottom.
(, Wed 10 Mar 2010, 19:51, Reply)
And what did you find at the bottom of each hole?
No, wait, let me guess...
Was it...
Dirt?
(, Wed 10 Mar 2010, 20:00, Reply)
to the untrained eye it may look like dirt
but there is a world of clayey sandy silty gravel out there.

Untrained eye?
Shame on you.
