Here's an idea.
Following on from the furore about MPs expenses and second home status, I’ve been thinking (all on my own, dangerous state), when the 2012 Olympics are finished why not turn the village into MPs accommodation. Then they can have a constituency home and a pied a terre in London. Obviously the village will be all cabled up for cameras and have security measures which would help protect our brave MPs from marauding constituents and terrorists. This would cut expenses and stop the twats milking the system as it would be cheaper to provides the accommodation free.

Discuss.

they should all be rounded up
beaten black and blue and then fired out of a cannon into a sandpaper factory

Nah.
Make them get proper jobs then elect MPs from the general population by lottery. That would be much harsher.

This was suggested
By the Green Party (I think).

It was rejected though, on account of it being both cost effective and sensible.

There is no room for either of these blasphemies in British politics
