The hob of an induction cooker doesn't heat up.well it does, but only because it's got contact with the pan.

I knowBut I'm sure we would still have found a way. Such as making everyone hold a fork or somesuch.
I will admit they are pretty awesome though. Far better than the lump of rubbish that's sitting in my flat and sometimes heats stuff up.
