This is sadly so very true:
lest we forget the misleadingly written Daily Mail and News of the World articles which made a veritable splurge of pigshit-thick readers think the White Cliffs of Dover were going to be sold to France. This naturally led to several excruciating comments, including one twatbag who seemed to think that selling a British cliff to France would mean that Germany has won the Second World War.
