I have the single of White RabbitI pinched it from my father. It's their best song (along with Somebody to Love) but the LP is a bit too wet for my tastes.
Particularly when you consider that fellow Californians the mighty Blue Cheer's 'Vincebus Eruptum' was released around the same time...

Those are indeed those best songsand white rabbit always pleasantly reminds me of that bit from Fear and Loathing, which in turn reminds me of a particular occasion getting off my face on absinthe while at uni.

One of my favourite singles is '7 & 7 is'What a fucking tune. I have to say I think 'Forever Changes' is nowhere near as good as people make it out to be.

It is almost a cliche now to praise it......but it is an immnense influence on music.
The other side of the coin is that De Capo is criminally underrated.
