I was having a conversation with a colleague just now about women and chocolate, funnily enough
(As she's tried to give it up for lent, but snapped yesterday in what I'm told was quite a spectacular fashion)

But yes, she wonders if there's some physiological difference between men and women which leads to women craving chocolate but not men. I countered this by arguing that I get irritable if I don't get a least one weekly fix of The Pub, but I do wonder whether she has a point.

There must be guys who crave chocolate.
My mum is like that. She even steals the little bit of chocolate I keep in the fridge when she visits.

I'm going to have to keep an eye for the next time I start craving something.
I don't tend to find myself yearning after particular foodstuffs - I love food, but I find it hard to enough to decide what to have for dinner these days.

Actually, just a thought...does it count as a craving if I find myself sitting in my office in the middle of the afternoon thinking I'd really like to have a guitar to hand?

I'm hopelessly addicted to chocolate.
If I have some chocolate I have to eat it all. I can't save it, someone has to take it off me. I'm the same with biscuits too.

I've never seen this in a man before
You interest me. I feel like I should conduct tests on you and find out how you tick...

Haha!
Anal tests?

Well, some sort of "analysis" will have to take place...

Turn your head and cough

Is that a craving?
or is that you're just what's known in medical circles as a "greedy guts" ?

Plenty of women manage to crave both chocolate and men, I think.

(, Thu 18 Mar 2010, 14:00, Reply)
I don't think women crave men.

(, Thu 18 Mar 2010, 14:01, Reply)
You do

(, Thu 18 Mar 2010, 14:02, Reply)
No I don't.
Otherwise I would have one by now.
(, Thu 18 Mar 2010, 14:03, Reply)
unless you're going to be anal about the definition of crave
surely plenty do?
(, Thu 18 Mar 2010, 14:05, Reply)
She craves anal for sure

Who have you been speaking to?

(, Thu 18 Mar 2010, 14:08, Reply)
There are some women who hate to not be in a relationship.
But some men are like this also.
(, Thu 18 Mar 2010, 14:06, Reply)
I wasn't suggesting any different. It wasn't meant to mean just women.
I was just going for a bit of wordplay on some ambiguity in TSC's post, specifically "some physiological difference between men and women which leads to women craving chocolate but not men"

I won't bother next time ;)
(, Thu 18 Mar 2010, 14:09, Reply)
I don't crave chocolate often.
The only time I crave something sweet is when I take a sleeping pill.
(, Thu 18 Mar 2010, 14:02, Reply)
Is that when you crave me?

(, Thu 18 Mar 2010, 14:03, Reply)
immediately before bed

*trigger fingers*

(, Thu 18 Mar 2010, 14:05, Reply)

(, Thu 18 Mar 2010, 14:17, Reply)
When you're asleep?

(, Thu 18 Mar 2010, 14:28, Reply)
I've been wondering why my eye and arse hurt every morning
