When we used to play as kids (before the 80s)
I found that most board games ended in violence, tantrums and a sense of dissapointment.

They set me up for life in general.

my sister (who is now an accountant)
used to make me play Monopoly when I was barely old enough to understand it and I used to hide money under the board so I would go bankrupt and wouldn't have to play anymore. When she found out she was soooo angry.

she would have told on me if I'd done that. I used to get the 2nd prize in a beauty contest way more than her though and I would totally rub it in her not-even-second-best face.
