see I thought of making my own
but I went into the fabric shop and was completely overwhelmed. I didn't even go in for that specific purpose but if I hadn't found one little thing I like--which motivated me to continue on my mission--I would've left with only a car air freshener.

I don't actually know how to make anything at all.
I don't own a sewing machine. [wouldn't know how to use one if I did]
But I plan to make sexy pants for a mate.
Good thing I bought a yard of fabric :/

They're pretty basic once you learn how to thread them and adjust stitch length and tension.
But mine is ancient, new ones are probably more complicated.

Are you going to hand sew them then? :O

my mum had to go on a course to be taught how to use hers because it is so complicated
and that's not a reflection on her abilities because she made things ranging from ballgowns to sails with her old one.

Too many dials and shit on new ones.
And you never use most of it anyway. I have my Nanna's old one, its probably at least 40 years old and still works perfectly and does everything I need it to.

and it's awesome. Although I do like the new ones where you can scan in a picture of anything and it'll embroider it. Just think, you could have Goatse tablecloths.
