but only 5 pairs of special ones like those, the rest are just generic heels.

Thats nearly as many as me. I have only three, but thats cos I like to go out in my Docs and I don't like the current shoe fashions.
All the beautiful ones are so expensive.

I was looking at them when I was trying to find some pole dancing shoes that aren't trashy plastic, but they're all too heavy unfortunately. I did find a pair of stripper shoes that have a little yellow duck floating in them, I want them so badly!!
EDIT: Found them! sheekheels.co.uk/WebRoot/StoreDaily/Shops/eshop389221/4B7E/716E/95ED/666D/B3E3/C0A8/0ADD/C1BC/kiss-201-9.jpg

I much prefer dancing in bare feet, The massive heels make me feel really clumsy.
They do all seem to look so trashy although apparantly the plastic helps with grip. They sound amazing! I like the ones with the slots for customers to put their tips in XD
Edit: They are amazing!

I do it barefeet but when I host a hen party I should really wear heels as that's what the hens are usually wearing and it helps with the strutting. When I'm doing the gymnastic stuff though the shoes just get in the way. And they're heavy, so I have to adjust everything I do upside down to take into account the extra weight on my feet.

You are my hero. Either that, or me in the future.
How long have you been doing it?
I've only been going a year, and my class focuses on the gymnastic side, so my strutting and spins aren't up to scratch.
You might have heard of it actually, Blushdance?

I teach independently in Bar 38 on Tuesdays and Wednesdays and I do hen parties as well. I've been doing it about 2 years now, what moves are you on? I'm just about getting the handspring and I'm working on brass monkey at the moment.

I need to do more than once a week to improve now, and since I'm not allowed to put a pole up in halls, my only option is to go to another class, but I can't really afford another blush one, as good as it is. How much do you charge?
I haven't been able to go for about five weeks with the fashion show I was in and being home for easter, so I can't really remember what the last thing I did was, but my favourite move is easily Hercules into superman, follwed by inverted splits.
(, Mon 12 Apr 2010, 17:08, Reply)
I can't do hercules into superman yet, my supermans are shit! I quite like doing flatline scorpio into superman though, as long as my hands aren't sweaty, that's when I faceplant!
My classes are usually £8 an hour, you could join my Tuesday one if you want, I've got some spare places in there. They are beginners in there, so if you want, I could charge you £5 and you could do your own thing and I'll help you when/if you need it?
