Inorganic chemistry
Can we have an internet fight?
(, Thu 15 Apr 2010, 8:24, 1 reply, 16 years ago)
I could never get on with organic chemistry
Too many reactions to learn. I much preferred subjects in which you could work out the answer without having to remember too much. Which is why I was never much good with languages.

I couldn't agree more
I've found I usually got on alright with languages, but organic chemistry used to bore the tits off me.

(Mind you, this was A-level chemistry, where most of the lab sessions seemed to involve little more excitement than pouring a colourless liquid into another colourless liquid to create a third colourless liquid...)

naaah this stuff is fun.
And Bartleby m'dear, I like inorganic chemistry too, I just find this stuff more fun. It's all chemical composition and it makes it easier to see why reactions occur. :D

At my level, I only rubbed the thighs of chemistry, rather than got too serious
I did like doing the experiments though, and the inorganic ones were more fun.
