I am, normally, solely an egalitarian but this smacks of the need for radical feminism in the form of a severe telling off if you ask me.
*By telling off I mean a poke in the eye and by poke in the eye i mean a thorough ramming with a broken glass covered pole.

I suggest they are pelted with stones every time they deem to look at a woman.

David Mitchell (who I don't even really like) made an absolutely excellent point in a paper I don't even really like. In key things women are still disenfranchised www.guardian.co.uk/commentisfree/2010/apr/18/students-pole-dancing-david-mitchell

By taking something sexually demeaning like pole dancing in a club and turning it into a fitness routine then you turn the act itself into something empowering.

It's a fitness routine all well and good, keep it as that. It's most definitely not empowering and attempts to brand it as such are cynical and anti-woman. But my actual point was women still face discrimination in key areas like equal wages for an equal job, and that the media focus less on that than abnormal once-off cases where women have it better

'cos like, two wrongs totally make a right. If you want an end to predjudice you don't get it by introducing more predjudice but in a different direction.
