Possibly because Paddy's Day is a real earner, so why not ?Tad cynical? - not really. The pub next to the church was heaving with parents "waiting" for their Scouts. The pub had generously allowed us to muster there. When the Scouts all went home, three dozen leaders took over the pub garden to reward themselves.
