I'm happy because I'm going back to Thailand on Saturday.
but also pissed off because the Foreign Office tells me I shouldn't be, so my insurance is now invalid.
Oh and 'ning all!

Having seen a report on the news last night
where troops and protestors were firing real live bullets at each other, I'd stay the fuck out of Thailand.

Thailand
What a mixture of feelings it brings back...

I hope you´re not going to Bangkok.

Nah nowhere near Bangkok.
Off to Buriram in the North East. Only thing to worry about there is the odd pissed off buffalo and crawly bitey things as big as your face.

And Thai people
Trying to help you getting rid of all your money? I don´t know, maybe that´s only in Bangkok as well.

What a pretty city and what a bunch of thieves.

Different world in the sticks mate.
If you speak the language (even badly like me) they make you feel genuinely welcome and I have a lot of friends there now. But I know exactly what you mean in Bangers. We're just barely-tolerated, walking ATMs there.

That´s exactly how I felt
They were so polite all the time, but after a few minutes you start wondering if they are really that nice or they are just expecting a good tip for opening doors for you and things like that.

I want to go again, but to the North, and with someone who speaks the language.

I enjoyed very much the tiger temple.

There's a temple near Angthong
dedicated to the lower realms of Buddhism. 20ft high statues of demons and grotesque life size statues everywhere, absolutely amazing and smack in the middle of well... nowhere. It's incredible what you can find when you go off the beaten track.

Nah, more likely to Bangkunt.
