And the winner, with a 60% is the BNP, then with a 52% UKIP.
I think there is something VERY wrong with that test.
Good that I can´t vote. I´d be deporting myself soon after that.
Which very stupid things that ended up going against you have you done (or almost done) recently?

so I can easily tell who is an idiot.

I´m sure you could tell before doing the test.
To be fair, they ask which parties you'd never consider voting, and I didn´t put BNP or UKIP on that list, just to see where they´d be.

Go to www.areyouanazi.co.uk.
*EDIT* Just as well there isn't really such a site.

Much bigger.
My sister and I always joke that we got from our mother from waist down, and from my father from waist up (does that make sense?)

Surprise surpise, the sodding thing is faulty
(, Thu 29 Apr 2010, 16:46, Reply)
You should use your credit card for those things, and let the bank do the fighting.
(, Thu 29 Apr 2010, 16:50, Reply)
I only got the item today, but it was faulty. "The Telephone Depot" are not answering their phone (irony?) or replying to my emails.
I will learn one day.
(, Thu 29 Apr 2010, 16:56, Reply)
You trust them and they do this to you.
You'll probably get the money through the credit card, but it still makes you angry.
Is it only a bit faulty or it doesn´t work at all?
(, Thu 29 Apr 2010, 17:02, Reply)
the dial doesn't work. I could receive incoming calls (I assume). It cost £55, so it's not a huge amount of cash, just frustrating.
From now on i'll stick to Amazon.com
(, Thu 29 Apr 2010, 17:08, Reply)
I don't even bother with ebay most of the time.
A retro style telephone? Those with the numbers in little holes in a wheel?
You know, when you hung up the phone, there is a little "wall" that comes down, and you hear the click. You can dial by pressing that wall the right number of times, with a little pause in between numbers. Don´t press it too hard, as if hunghing up, just enough to make the noise.

teenagers yet - adults are more likely to stay longer than the lesson demanding attention and MORE INFORMATION
(, Thu 29 Apr 2010, 16:54, Reply)
Only 1 to 3 people at a time, and yes, under 18, they want to go as soon as possible. Above 18 you have to throw boiling water on them or they won´t go.
How old are yours? And how many?
(, Thu 29 Apr 2010, 16:57, Reply)
so it's mostly 16-21ish. Not massive classes, i think the biggest is about 10 or 12

They´re just getting interested in learning (because of exams, some of them)
I'm considering moving into teaching. I´ve always loved doing it, but I´m a bit scared of leaving a well paid job that generally (not in the last year) I enjoy. And scare of some kids as well.
(, Thu 29 Apr 2010, 17:01, Reply)
you get some who are really up for learning, are creative and love the subject, but some are still in whiney teenager mode and are only there for their EMA. I really want to teach higher education, but that's harder to get into.
Teaching is fun but really quite a lot of work especially at the start. It's also quite different from other jobs you don't get to spend a day in the office doing easy stuff and avoiding other people when you feel like shit so it can be quite intense
(, Thu 29 Apr 2010, 17:06, Reply)
and everyone thinks you get loads of holidays and skyve off all the itme
(, Thu 29 Apr 2010, 17:07, Reply)
Blimey, I´ll have to rethink my career, then.
I think the main problem is, as you said, that the days you´re feeling like crap you still have to go there and face a bunch of idiots that don´t want to be there either.
I think if I went into teaching it'd be for kids or for adults. I'm teaching Spanish at the moment, to friends, and it's quite a lot of fun.
(, Thu 29 Apr 2010, 17:14, Reply)
when teaching's good it's really good, I love it when you get a student who is really inspired - their eyes light up and they run with an idea.
Teaching sucks when it's all about the paperwork and figures
(, Thu 29 Apr 2010, 17:17, Reply)
I´m in a 40h/week job plus some volunteering, so I don´t have enought time for anything.
I'd have quit engineering and try teaching. That's why I find it so scaring.
(, Thu 29 Apr 2010, 17:22, Reply)
But I was enjoying the thought of having some more time for myself. I don´t know how many holidays you get, but I hope it's more than 24 days/year.

Very helpful... although according to this site: www.voterpower.org.uk/
there isn't much point in me trying!
