Well, if I remember rightly,
he needs to be someone quite objectionable and more prone to savagery than whoever plays Ralph. A person who's obviously been bought up to behave better - being the head choirboy and that - but who is all too ready to rebel against it and release the feral, deviant, violent character within...

Oh, sod it. Give the role to Eddie Murphy and we'll turn it into a crass blaxploitation flick.
