Buy a Panasonic
They're much better than everything else. I saw a shop display recently and the Panas stood out like shining beacons. It's most noticeable off-axis than straight on.


Other anecdotal opinions may be available

I like LG and toshiba, when it comes to tellies.
Picture and value is very good.

New panasonics have sd card readers.
DivX straight from the card.
