I am in St Ives at the end of June
Although i'm not sure the wife and kids would be too enamoured at the prospect of some subterranean space rock. I must admit though, when I saw them in 1994 with Aphex Twin as support, which was the reason i was there, i wasn't expecting much. However, by the time they went off, I was completely trollied. Their sound system was superb.

I've seen them maybe 15-20 times
and the 'fucking incredible' to 'disappointingly shit' ratio is about 50:50...

I had dropped an acid just as they came on
and stood at the side, watching. The combination of the light show, the female dancer with the billowing skirt, the drugs and the pummeling bass left me in quite a condition. I had about ten minutes to regain my composure before Aphex Twin came on and blew the place apart with an eye wateringly angry and destructive live set. One flashback has me standing right at the front, almost everyone else had retreated to the back, beside a guy with a full dog costume on, offering me some Vicks Vaporub.
