it's worth getting it checked outon a couple of occasions I have quite badly hurt my fingers and not gone to get them looked at. Fortunately they weren't actually broken and have healed ok and stuff, but it took a year for one of them to stop hurting.
my mrs didn't give me sympathy during that time because I didn't go to hospital to get them checked out :-(

and so you shouldmishealed bones can not only be really painful, but in bad cases they'll have to be rebroken to be set straight again
