A couple of days ago, one of my friends was having a total rant about how the BP oil disaster is all Obama's fault.
Like how Obama had actually torpedoed the oil rig so that he could create a Katrina style state of emergency and then get credit.

Several people looked at the guy and called him a complete fucking dumbass.

Mind you, this is the same guy who doesn't believe we need the moon.

there have been people outside BP here with signs saying "Honk if you don't want to pay for BPs mistake"
etc etc
I also have a friend on fb that is saying it's all obamas fault
I want to knock her horse teeth right out of her stupid face

I'm not justifying BP's lack of responsibility and the way they denied it at first,
but it was an accident, and these things do happen. And they're having to find a way to do something that's never been done so deep in the ocean before.
