And I don't want to place too much responsibility in the hands of coursemates.
I try not to beak :D
Oh it's fantastic. Can't wait. I'll go on my own if the people I texted don't want to.

I've lost touch with some good friends. And I don't know how to re-establish friendship with them.
You don't beak. I refer to one friend who rambled for twenty minutes about all the hot guys who were asking her out, and when she asked what I did today and I mentioned the date, was really quite nasty about it.
Yeah shopping on your own can be really relaxed fun :) what are you planning on buying?

(that's meant to be interested rather than surprised btw)
How did it go?

it was nice, but definitely a just friends thing. Did you have a good day?
(, Mon 7 Jun 2010, 23:32, Reply)
Managed to spend the whole afternoon looking at D&D stuff and trying to flesh out the setting for a campaign I'm doing for some friends back home over the hols. When I really should have been revising.
Went into town to get some paper (my one approach to nearly working today), saw the lass I like in the queue (with which I have had many "just friends things", tried to chat a bit, but it just came out as tired mumblings :S (especially across the 3 people between us), and she'd gone by the time I left the store.
On the plus side, I'll be getting Monster Manual 3 tomorrow to distract me even more (I'm actually not going to go check my mail until the evening just to make sure I actually do some work), and on Friday (i.e. 4 days before the first exams that actually count towards my degree) I'll be going to a ball in Cardiff (due to having a bunch of friends at uni there), then coming back sat morning and going to the garden party at college.

I can be quite self centred and am not as "sweet-hearted" as people think.
Peh. People like that can get to fuck. What purpose does telling you that serve? Even if you were in a committed relationship, that's bragging and saying "Look how amazing I am". I can't be doing with people like that.
I might go on my own and meet up with them later. Well, with it being Beyond Retro, you never know til you get there... last few trips I came away with full length dresses adn playsuits, maybe I'll get a skirt or something spangly.
(, Mon 7 Jun 2010, 23:08, Reply)
I still don't think you beak :P
Yeah, it was a bit frustrating, she was being so fucking bitchy about it, and she definitely implied I was too ugly for casual sex. I need better friends.
Spangly things are good! Love the sparkles. It's pretty much a treasure-house that place

You don't need downers like that and besides, she's wrong. People like that really frustrate me.
I got this dress from there a while ago- in brilliant condition, no sequins coming lose or anything- for £25. Fuckin' a.
ignore the the face- I'd been sitting outside weeping over my ex-boyfriend so as a result was a bit red-eyed
(, Mon 7 Jun 2010, 23:50, Reply)
what material was it? And for £25 that is fantastic.
Yeah she's a bit of a bitch at the moment. But she has had a tough time of it recently so I guess she needs to lash out a bit

with those circles around the neck, back (it's a v at the back) arms and bottom hem. Black swirly sequins all over.
I hope you let her know you weren't happy. Upset or no, it's not a very nice thing to say.
God help me, I've been listening to that Vengaboys song practically all day. WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH ME?!
(, Tue 8 Jun 2010, 0:21, Reply)
a rather nice dress. Think I've said it before but I wish I had better luck finding vintage stuff. What I'm looking for at the moment is some white shoes, that are not open toed.
I didn't complain, but I did tell her that her 'hot date' was actually quite ugly.
Don't feel bad. I've been listening to the shittest music, including that Timbaland song.
(, Tue 8 Jun 2010, 0:38, Reply)
It's part searching, part luck. And with Beyond Retro it's so huge, you're bound to find something you like. I love white shoes. I've said this before.
Good. Get the bitch back.
I'm counteracting it with this. It just makes me want to see them live more than anything :(
This is one of my favourite songs ever. Studio version if you want.
Arse, live video cuts out some point through it. I want Kevin Barnes so badly though :(

I might go shopping after the bash, since I'll be in London anyway. I want to find a couple more skirts. I don't have enough given that I'll be spending the next month after that in Malta and Rome.
To counter my shit taste of the last few hours, I've stuck on the Kill Bill soundtrack. It's pretty good.
I haven't heard of that band. Are they not touring this year?
(, Tue 8 Jun 2010, 1:00, Reply)
I might still have packing, but I also might go and visit my grandmother. If neither of these apply, let me know and I'll come. I love shopping.
I have 157 songs from oM- listening to them on random. They're my favourite band at the moment. The lead singer is fucking bonkers. The album Bunny... is from details his mental breakdown, his marriage breakdown, and his rebirth as a black shemale called Georgie Fruit. No jokes.
They're touring, but being Americans they're not coming to England. Their live shows look fantastic.
(, Tue 8 Jun 2010, 1:06, Reply)
Will let you know (if you're in shape after the night before.) I'm sure you'd know the best spots a lot better than I would.
I'll have a quick check on Spotify, I really like the sound of them- totally mad. It makes me jealous when bands I like only tour America
(, Tue 8 Jun 2010, 1:09, Reply)
and as it's frozen yogurt it's not tooooo bad for you...
Hissing Fauna, Are You The Destroyer? is brilliant, Sunlandic Twins is pretty good, Skeletal Lamping is brilliant, Satanic Panic in the Attic is brilliant. I'd start maybe with SPitA or Hissing Fauna...
