the only time I left a film early
was to catch the last train, cause being a poor student I didn't have enough left for a taxi even half-way home. It was Queen of the Damned, and I only missed the last ten minutes. Everything else I have sat through to the end, no matter how fucking terrible (The Village? WTF).


AQ: Apart from fighting my brother, I've only ever been in one fight, which was more of a 1-on-4 mugging. It was in such a scummy part of the city (near Ibrox stadium, after I had been working in Edinburgh and returned to the company base there), that at least three groups of people just walked past, despite the fact I was getting my ass kicked.

Don't feel too harshly towards the people who walked by
I often wonder what I would do if I saw someone being mugged/beaten, especially if it was a group doing it. I would like to do the right thing, but i'm not Bruce Lee.

A few years ago, a man was stabbed to death in the centre of Bristol during the day trying to stop a teenager having his mobile nicked by a group of teenagers. Died for a fucking mobile phone.

I'd probably have done the same
except at least one group was larger in number than the four who jumped me, and still just walked past looking on like it was a shop window
