It's how I got a Gary Fisher Marlin
With upgraded seat, forks and chain set, and paid about £80 to replace a few parts. Score.

A Marlin is a good starting point

Seeing as it was an upgrade from not having a bike
I would say it was a fairly good start. It does me well, even if it did try to kill me last time I was out on it.

I can actually blame my bike
As my front sus locked up going downhill, and therefore didn't so much absorb a bump as launch me over the handlebars. Then follow me.
