last year was full of shouty/screamywhich wasn't my bag. too much constant guitar and drums going on, and not melodic enough.
Which is why Alice in Chains stood out so much as being incredibly awesome.

It was raining quite hardat that point I think. They were quite good though (and possibly that was their last UK gig.)
Same with Avenged Sevenfold. Not my favourite band by any measure, but I'm glad I watched them since that was their final UK gig (where they're all alive anyway)
