That's awesome. I am insanely jealous. (Don't know if you've read any Gerald Durrell, but he has a wonderful story about making an Elephant Seal cry.)

Quite possibly, but the sieve-like properties of my memory have increased in proportion with age and alcohol intake.
Though the seal-spanking bit is ringing a bell somewhere in the empty crypts of my cranium.

I don't think I'm one or t'other, I like cats and dogs, but I think I'd rather own a cat if I had to make the choice.
