To be a fresher again, eh?

(, Wed 16 Jun 2010, 17:52, 1 reply, 16 years ago)
I'm going to be feeling very old this week
(Physically, at any rate) First that video, then tomorrow my (first year) project students present their work at the department open day, then do the same tomorrow but with school-kids visiting. Then T_ turns 25 on Saturday, just to remind it'll be my turn soon. AAARGH.

I'm sorry, I shouldn't be cruel.
Good luck with your students. Thinking of you in a position of responsibility terrifies me, if I'm perfectly honest.

It terrifies you?
(How do you think I feel?)

How many have you killed and eaten so far?

Incidentally do feel free to drop by on Saturday if you're in the area
We'll be attempting to do the monopoly board. (Read: clinging on to the notion that we're still young and can still do this sort of thing...)

I'll have Applebite with me in the morning...
She'll be leaving around 3 I think. There's the possibility of R___ coming over... I'll let you know if I find myself at a loose end. Will you cheat and substitute Borough for OKR?
(, Wed 16 Jun 2010, 18:10, Reply)
OKR is being done in a warm-up run on the Friday night
This is unfortunately why I can't make Al's bash, as T decided we were bettering off doing the "awkward" ones (OKR, Whitechapel, Islington, etc) the night before, rather than trying to shepherd a large group of people in a big circuit round London all on a Saturday. Everything on the Saturday has been confined in a nice little triangle bounded by Park Lane, Fleet Street and Oxford Circus.
