I've done it at least twice before now.

(Helps if you can speak the local language, mind; a week in Croatia not having a proper conversation with anybody got a bit odd after a while)

I shouldn't stereotype
As I'm sure not all Italian men are greasy, lecherous crooks. In fact, I know some who aren't.

However, during the first couple of weeks when volcanic ash was grounding planes, all the other countries did their best to help stranded tourists, whilst in Italy a lot of the natives bought up whatever plane, train or boat tickets they could to sell on at a premium to said stranded tourists.

(know nice Italian men) however they are still usually quite sexist. And the times I've been to Rome before (and the times my family have been to Rome) there's been gangs of them who can be fairly intimidating

Don't know where I am staying. Will depend how the evening ends. If it is civilised, then I'll probably head back before midnight. If it is riotous and fun and involves getting drunk then probably I'll stumble drunkenly around looking for a hotel, or simply stay awake the night, depending.

I already have Applebite with me, but if you want to stay on you can come to mine. I'm only allowed one overnight guest, so we'd have to be sneakysneaky, but I'd imagine you'd have to leave Charing X quite early to get to Victoria before midnight...
