drove to the far northwest of scotland a couple of months back to get the ferry to the outer hebridesalthough, we went from exeter to birmingham one night, and then birmingham to ullapool the next day, and me and my mrs shared the driving.

Brum to Ullapool is a fair run. North of the border the roads seem interminable.Should I move this Q. to opening post?
