I'm going to be a mess when I finally meet you Vippers. In fact I'd like to apologise now

For some reason I'm more concerned about offending her than you. Probably because I reckon with enough mutual piss-taking via B3ta you'll get over it

no amount of piss taking could come close to equalling what passes between me and my old school mates, so I don't think you have to worry.

I did go to a school full of cunts mind you. Am known for saying unnecessarily offensive stuff when wasted but am usually very respectful when I meet people for the first time so it should be an interesting balance I attempt to strike

or friends I've stolen from my brother (bassist and drummer in my band)

thus making him my oldest friend. I'm impressed that he has managed to stand the constant abuse for 18 years. His fault for being so easy to wind up I think, and so rewarding to watch him flip out.

actually planning to see any bands at sonisphere or is it going to degenerate in to mess and MASSIVE DRUGS?
(, Tue 29 Jun 2010, 11:16, Reply)
Maiden, Pendulum, Rammstein obviously. Therapy cos they're playing Troublegum, Terrorvision for old times' sake and I'm intrigued by Corey Taylor's acoustic set. That's it. The rest of it is all about hanging out with my mates, meeting new people (this is where you guys come in) and getting horribly, horribly wasted

it was dull and average. I wouldn't bother with it.
See Alice in Chains. They were the best thing there last year, including Metallica.
some of my favourite odd bands are playing like Bigelf (so excited about that), The Cult, Karnivool, 65daysofstatic, Apocalyptica, Skindred....
so many good bands

Am less into the scene than I was a few years ago (luckily most of the people who come to Rawkus are stuck in their ways) so will be spending a lot of time discovering "new" bands who've been around for years
