or if your friends were a little more light-hearted.
christ, if my mates and I got that bent out of shape about insults we'd never get anything done.

I take it you read it then
I lost my rag cos that one chap had the nerve to say he rarely calls me gay, and I can't remember the last time we had a conversation when he didn't. Don't need people like that IRL, got plenty on here to keep me occupied

I saw the beginning of it yesterday and skimmed the rest just now
that bit was rather unnecessary of him, even without knowing him you can pretty much tell that he was fibbing when he said he doesn't call you gay!

it's an unfortunate situation that you've got a group of friends who really don't like gay being used to describe something, and a different group that do just that. I have limited sympathy for both though. Life's too fucking short to get worked up about trivial crap like that.

Mostly I let it go, as you say it's not worth the stress
but I wanted to take Simon to task for that, because as I say he never apologises and I've had enough of it now

that's fair enough, if he's telling an outright lie on there and sticking to it hard then he's a tool

I think Daisy's comment
along the lines of "I don't know you, but I have a memory, and it tells me you've called Darth a gay every time you've commented on his FB" was my favourite.

Am planning a cull of friends soon anyway. Debating whether it's too heavy-handed to make my status "Am planning a cull - if you're not a prick, you'll be OK"

then removing him, changing my status to "If you can read this, I've decided you're not a prick" - given that I'm also friends with his GF

Yes I've overthought this. I were steamin' yesterday

not worth the bother
either tell them they are pricks straight out, or just cull them. no point in anything else.

I'll freely admit that I'm shit at confrontation
Reading back what I wrote above it does seem childish. It also bugs me that I'm thinking about this and I know he'll have forgotten it already. Gah. Someone talk to me about something else

I find that very passive aggressive.
Some of my friends do that, or used to- seems a very 16 year oldish thing to do.

I'm glad I didn't write that I thought it was passive agressive now as well
it was close
