Hit him with a frying pan *spang-spang-spang-SPANG* until he agrees. Or just go anyway, take a friend or go alone. I have gone to the cinema on my own a few times and it's quite a liberating experience.

See it at the first opportunity
before too many people tell you about it or you see the trailers. I saw a trailer for it a couple of weeks ago that totally spoiled an awesome scene.

I saw the begining of "how it was done"
and changed channels, I don't want to see anything about it until I'm on the cinema. It looks really good film.
