My favourite colour is 'nigger brown'.
I cannot believe people in this country referred to this without turning a hair right into the 1960s 2007*. No I would not wear a suit in 'nigger brown'. Ever.

I went to schoolt, with a pasty white lad who nickname was Nigger or sometimes Nigger Bacon.
His name was Mark Payne - Dark Payne - Darkie Payne - Darkie Pagan - Darkie Bacon - Nigger Bacon.

The Darkie and Nigger bits were interchangeable. Darkie Pavement may well have been my favourite bastardisation.

In Winchester we only had one black person:
'Black Rob'.

Crayola used to have a crayon called Indian Red for years. It was renamed Chestnut in 1999 in response to people being spastics and thinking it was racist.

it was pretty racist.

No it wasn't. It was in reference to a pigment from India that matched the colour.

It's still suspiciously like Red Indian,
which is offensive.

Raccoons should be renamed, by the same token.

Sounds like PC's being a little niggardly, there.
Which could almost be misread as an oxymoron. But not quite.
