I've been to little gigs on my own
It feels odd at first but once the band's on, it's fine.
I like my own company, but like rosalicious says, it's other people who can make it a bind, making assumptions that you're on the batter or something.

Me and my mate had tickets for different sections, so I might as well have been on my own. It was fine.

at a gig everyone's there for the same reason
so at least you have that in common. I always find complete strangers try to talk to me at gigs, I guess I just have one of those faces
