In 1st gearwith your foot off the accelerator, you'd be trundling along at about 5mph. I could work it out more accurately for my car if I could be bothered looking up the idle speed and gear ratios, but I can't.

it does indeedit trundles along nicely in 2nd and to some extent 3rd as well.
useful for car parks and traffic jams
