I sometimes
get a weird sense of a presence being in the room. It's whilst I'm in the process of falling asleep. It starts with that weird feeling you get when somebody's looking at you, then gets more and more intense. I'll try to convince myself that I'm being stupid, but eventually I'll wake up properly and have to turn on the light. Sure enough, no one there.

One time there was an audio component, too. Just as I was starting to think that I was going to have to wake up again and turn on the light, I "heard" movement in my room. I have never woken up and got out of bed so quickly in all my life. I had to check all the doors and windows followed by a nice sit down before the adrenaline subsided.

ooo, I have had this before
including a bit when I think I see a shadowy figure. Actually quite freaked out just at the thought of it happening again now I'm on my own *shudder*
