Time with daughter was incredible.
Time with grandmother was heart-rending. She's deaf as a fucking post and just repeats herself constantly. The only relief came from seeing my half-Jap cousins afterwards. I sank six pints with my disgusting pub lunch in an attempt to numb myself against the shock of seeing my grandmother's condition - she is literally half the size she was 20 years ago. Horrible to see.

My Nan had a stroke a couple of years back, and is now a shadow of her former self. Her skin's like paper, and she's so damn frail :(

She really is. She calls it her 'motorbike'.
We had such fun - when I have to go home it upsets me so much, though, knowing it'll be a whole week until I see her again. She is just gorgeous.
