Same hat, style of dress, glasses, beard, the works. What was infuriating about him wasn't the resemblance but that he would walk down the street whilst reading from a small laptop. A Darwin award waiting to happen.

Sorry folks, but I don't.
I tried reading some of his stuff years ago but it just didn't grab me.
I haven't read Lord of the Rings or Hitchhikers Guide.
Does this mean I have to leave the internet?

You don't have to leave but you will be put on a list and have to go about introducing yourself to other internet denizens making them aware of your hideous crimes.
To be honest I haven't read Lord of the Rings either. Read most of Hitchhikers Guide but I found the quality dipped later on. Read some Pratchett years ago but am not compelled to read any more, but then I have the same experience with most writers, three or four books is usually my limit before their style starts to grate.
