Saw Inception and The A-Team this weekend
Inception is unbefuckinglievably good. Best film I've seen since, well, probably The Dark Knight actually. Just amazing. A-Team is more or less exactly what you'd expect, it's a lot of fun but only cos of the characters. Only fans of the programme need bother with it

Were you disappointed
to find 'Cowboy George' did not feature?

No
Although your impressive knowledge of A-Team detail gives us some idea of how early your Mum's ITV ban ended

EDIT: I mentioned this to Ms Foxtrot the other day. Despite herself, she found it hilarious

I saw it on one of those 'TV from the 80s' shows fairly recently.
That said, at a guess, my mother's ITV lies were unmasked in about 1979.

Not the proudest moment for British pop stars trying to make it in America
nor the best in-joke in The A-Team. That would be when Face spots someone wearing a Cylon outfit and does a double-take, like he can't remember which programme he's in

Boy George once leered at me in Camden Sainsbury's.
I think he may even have winked at me. It was not a nice experience.

Could have been worse
There are other gender-bending singers from the 70s/80s that could have taken a shine to you...

*massive cringe*
When I was a fresh-faced long-haired golden youth, some wags used to call me 'Marilyn'....

I hope you howled with a primal rage
And stabbed them in such a frenzied state that the Police thought a wolverine had got loose from the zoo.

It happened quite regularly
It was around the time I was described as 'the roughest bird I've seen this year'.

I shall try and get an old photo off my brother so you all can see for yourselves.

Not because you looked like him,
but because you were sleeping with Gavin Rossdale
(, Mon 2 Aug 2010, 10:44, Reply)
He did have an impressive 'bush'

Inception is properly amazing.
I want to go see it again! At the end everyone went "argh oh my god!" in the cinema
(, Mon 2 Aug 2010, 10:18, Reply)
Same here!
Glad you enjoyed it, this makes you a better person.

Sorry I'm sick and had to come to work
and I want to be at home in bed watching BSB and playing with my new phone
(, Mon 2 Aug 2010, 10:23, Reply)
BSB?
Battlestar Badger?
(, Mon 2 Aug 2010, 10:27, Reply)
I was just thinking that
