as you get older, do your standards slip and you start fancying older women more, or do you still gawp at 20 year olds, but settle for women your own age?

You don't stop noticing the young ones, but it does become a bit creepy after a while.

Same for women
You begin to notice the older men who look good - surprisingly there aren't that many who both look good and have intelligence. The younger ones you end up feeling rather maternal towards. Youth also becomes less attractive at the lower end because it's all soft and peachy - I prefer men who have seen a bit of life. Experience is where it's at.
Mind you, if you'd asked me that when I was in my teens or early 20s I'd have said old men were creepy and young fresh teens were where it's at.
