We will rock you
No. You will make my ears bleed. Got dragged along by a previous gf against my wishes. I lasted 20 minutes. One of my top 10 worst nights of my life. Ruined Queen's music for me - even years later.

Ouch. You poor cunt.

Ben Elton is a genius

(, Tue 17 Aug 2010, 9:37, Reply)
I've enjoyed some of his books & liked his stand-up stuff years ago

(, Tue 17 Aug 2010, 9:44, Reply)
I loved that thing
where he played a right-on socialist when in reality he’s a social-climbing Lloyd-Webber bumming spastic. What was it called?

Oh yeah, ‘The 1980s’.
(, Tue 17 Aug 2010, 9:49, Reply)
Agreed.
The political stuff was opportunistic anti-Thatcher crap. Some of his non-political observational stuff was quite clever though.

'Little bit of politics, little bit of politics, Mrs Thatch' etc
He looked like a gay dentist.
(, Tue 17 Aug 2010, 9:57, Reply)
I challenge you to search (with safe search off) on Google images for "Gay Dentist" & not to end up with a bit of sick in your mouth

(, Tue 17 Aug 2010, 9:59, Reply)
I do not accept this challenge.

(, Tue 17 Aug 2010, 10:12, Reply)
Very wise.

(, Tue 17 Aug 2010, 10:39, Reply)
Observational?
Yeah his bit on "ooh, the wet patch... eh? the WET PATCH!"
Groundbreaking.
(, Tue 17 Aug 2010, 9:58, Reply)
'The train farty.
You know, the one who sits next to you when you want a double seat to yourself....'

What a cunt.

People always
ask me why I haven't seen it yet. They're like "but you like classic rock".

I just shake my head and walk away.
(, Tue 17 Aug 2010, 9:46, Reply)
DO NOT DO IT
No matter what else you do in life that you may regret - massive drugs, receiving anal, sleeping with with one of the Spice Girls etc. you will NEVER regret anything so much in your life as watching this abortion of a musical.

My mate was in that
I went along for one of his final performances. Wasn't bad.
(, Tue 17 Aug 2010, 9:58, Reply)
Get your ears tested. Now. There is obviously something seriously wrong with them.

(, Tue 17 Aug 2010, 10:00, Reply)
You have no soul.
I was dragged along to that fucking travesty twice by my ex.
(, Tue 17 Aug 2010, 10:06, Reply)
TWICE?
I would dooo annnnything foooor love, but I won't go and see We Will Rock You.
(, Tue 17 Aug 2010, 10:07, Reply)
Yep, first was a birthday present from his parents and they came along too in a coach with lots of other peiple so I didn't have an oyster card to make my exit
Second time I anticipated it and got utterly wankered first and had a great time. I think I may have thrown up on someone.
(, Tue 17 Aug 2010, 10:15, Reply)
Good girl

(, Tue 17 Aug 2010, 10:19, Reply)
I think I got more enjoyment
Out of being given plenty of piss-taking material to use against my mate for years to come. He played 'Britney Spears' (he's a big black guy), and sang "I want it all" as a duet.

We mocked him mercilessly one day, when he got a phone call... from Brian May...
(, Tue 17 Aug 2010, 10:10, Reply)
I hope you snatched the phone off your mate & told the curly haired tosser he was a cunt for giving Ben Elton permission to produce such crap

(, Tue 17 Aug 2010, 10:13, Reply)
I can recommend a good therapist if you need one to help you recover from this catastrophe.
