Yes they do
My most extravagant purchase was a very limited special edition Ghosts I-IV box set by NIN. Signed by the man himself, limited to 2,500 copies (mine's 284). Double CD, DVD and Blu-Ray, quadruple LP, art booklet and two art prints. $300...

The same album he released a quarter of for free download.

that Reznor
what a bastard
(, Tue 17 Aug 2010, 15:35, Reply)

bastard genius.

He did a multi-tier release, free 1/4 download, couple of bucks download the whole album (36 tracks), about a tenner for a CD, about seventy quid for the next stage, then the big $300 whopper deal.

Linky to my pics: album

RAMMSTEIN
confirmed for the next Rock Band game.
(, Tue 17 Aug 2010, 15:37, Reply)
those games are a bit shit really
I can play most of the songs on them on the guitar anyway, or could given 10 minutes.
(, Tue 17 Aug 2010, 15:42, Reply)
I hate them
but I can remember someone poss you or Labs talking about Rammstein the other day.
(, Tue 17 Aug 2010, 15:43, Reply)
Wasn't me
And I like the GH & RB games, because I get to prat about on a toy drumkit.
(, Tue 17 Aug 2010, 15:44, Reply)
I like guitar hero when everyone is roughly evenly matched
I have a couple of friends who have completed it so because we play winner stays on it's just not fun anymore. I hate when it gets put on at parties that aren't specific games parties, it just divides the room instantly.
(, Tue 17 Aug 2010, 15:59, Reply)
Yes, we don't do that
And mostly we play Rock Band so 3 (or 4, if someone's brave enough to sing), can play at once cooperatively.
(, Tue 17 Aug 2010, 16:00, Reply)
I have a fear of singing
which I bravely overcame just so I could do the middle bit of Freak on a Leash.
(, Tue 17 Aug 2010, 16:02, Reply)
Ahahaha! I wish someone would record you doing that.
I've 'rapped' to the Beastie Boys, when hammered, but that's all. I'll stick to the drums.
(, Tue 17 Aug 2010, 16:05, Reply)
No recordings of that?
What I hate about those games is that it's just not as much fun as playing the actual instruments.
(, Tue 17 Aug 2010, 16:06, Reply)
Caveat = If you have any skill at all
I've tried to play the real drums, floundered hard and got very little enjoyment from it. On RB/GH drums I can have a laugh.
(, Tue 17 Aug 2010, 16:07, Reply)
I'll stick with my real life skill then
Rather than the games. Partly as I own drums, and not any of the games.
(, Tue 17 Aug 2010, 16:09, Reply)
I'm the same
I have guitars so stick to those.

that's not to say that given the opportunity I can't beat most of my mates at Guitar Hero, because of my freakish knowledge of the songs and my mad skillz.
(, Tue 17 Aug 2010, 16:12, Reply)
there's a video on my facebook of me singing the BNBN song
that's as close as you'll get.
(, Tue 17 Aug 2010, 16:10, Reply)
I'll look later
Oh, and I got so much trouble from the missus for your comment on my FB list thing.
(, Tue 17 Aug 2010, 16:13, Reply)
oh I'm sorry!
I didn't mean to. Show her the rhino pic, she won't be bothered.
(, Tue 17 Aug 2010, 16:32, Reply)
I told her about it, it calmed her a little
She said she couldn't help it, and I helpfully added "what, being ridiculous?". Probably not the best thing to say.

Don't worry about it, I'm not :)
(, Tue 17 Aug 2010, 16:37, Reply)
Wiggy says stuff like that
I hate having to admit when I'm being a psycho.

Luckily the only people who leave suggestive comments on Wiggy's facebook are men.
(, Tue 17 Aug 2010, 16:45, Reply)
I've managed to avoid suggestive comments on my facebook so far
I just get Al, Clendrix and Becky insulting me.

which is fair enough
(, Tue 17 Aug 2010, 16:46, Reply)
The comment Kitty left wasn't massively suggestive
As it was obviously, to me at least, a joke. I think Em knew she was overreacting a bit, she dropped the matter and went back to berating me about wanting a lap dance...
(, Tue 17 Aug 2010, 16:48, Reply)
yeah, I saw it
funny though. Mrs V probably wouldn't mind too much. Little does she know that me and Kitty are going to be sailing off together on the Smug Croissant.
(, Tue 17 Aug 2010, 16:50, Reply)
Nice yacht name
Thankfully Em thought nothing of Applebite wanting me to rescue her from being tied to train tracks.
(, Tue 17 Aug 2010, 16:52, Reply)
glad to hear it

(, Tue 17 Aug 2010, 16:56, Reply)
yar skipper
it's going to be beautiful. Around the world in 80 croissants.
(, Tue 17 Aug 2010, 16:55, Reply)
I look forward to it

(, Tue 17 Aug 2010, 16:56, Reply)
it may well have been both me and Labs
or others
(, Tue 17 Aug 2010, 15:45, Reply)
Rammstein are alright
I reckon I'd enjoy them live more than on CD.
(, Tue 17 Aug 2010, 15:46, Reply)
They were amazing at Sonisphere
Not to rub it in or anything..
(, Tue 17 Aug 2010, 15:49, Reply)
Bah to you
I'll go next year if the line-up's decent.
(, Tue 17 Aug 2010, 15:51, Reply)
they are great live
the music works well in a live setting and the pyrotechnics are awesome
